This week, I visited the Mid-Atlantic Pipe Trades Association’s apprenticeship school. We discussed fighting wage theft, employee misclassification and ensuring that businesses compete on a level playing field. I have the backs of each worker in DC and will continue fighting for their rights.

Spent the past weekend with Horton’s Kids Thanksgiving Distribution & met the students that are participating in their Paris Program that gives students a chance to learn more abroad. I’m thankful for our communities looking out for each other & grateful for the spirit of DC. Happy Thanksgiving! 🍁

Violence is never the answer and must be swiftly condemned by all.

The National Guard are volunteers. They sign up to leave their jobs and families at a moment’s notice to serve their country.

This is a heartbreaking day for DC and our nation. My thoughts are with the victims and their loved ones.
