It got planted in you as a reaction, maybe from a painful moment or something you were taught to believe without question. That’s why it feels so heavy.

When you step back and really look at it, you might realize the value itself doesn’t even fit you anymore — maybe it never did.

I've been anxious since conception. My mom joked that I was so active in her belly she thought I was going to reach out and wave. And I've been a ball of nerves ever since. I'd love to find out if something similar is true for me.

I've been called rude or impatient when making this request.

What they don’t see is that my focus is in survival mode. I’m not trying to rush them… I’m fighting to stay with them.
