Great article. The same thing is happening to the EPA and the Department of the Interior, but differently. These agencies used to be authorities on climate change and environmental issues, but now they are being undermined so people won't view their past statements as legitimate.

However you direct your very justified anger, remember that the oil and gas industries are doing what they do for money. If you did something to make them less profitable, they would cease to exist. If pipelines and oil rigs got damaged somehow, I bet that would be very impactful.
