Putting your work out in the world can be one of the scariest things you'll do as an author, but it's pitch events like #DVPit and #PitchDis that make that first step so much easier and more inviting. I encourage people to look at pitches that worked, at your own, and take it as a chance to learn.

My moral code is dictated by one sentence: Be the kind of adult you needed as a kid. Today, I really made this kid happy. Speaking out against people at your job is hard. Speaking out against a high-level boss is even harder. But I could not sit by while something happened that I knew was wrong.

I want nothing more than the thing I've been waiting for to just happen already, but I am slowly with each passing day beginning to think I am forgotten and that I should move along... But the hopeful part of me keeps whispering, "What if?"

Sometimes, you've just got to wait and hope the good thing comes. Sometimes, you decide you're done waiting and find a way to make it happen for yourself. And sometimes... you stare at the wall, stuck in-between choices, not sure where you should go.

My biggest regret is not becoming this level of obsessed with DnD back in middle/high school when I would have been able to play in campaigns with friends... instead I'm here watching others play on my TV all the time. 😭

It is the first Saturday of the new year and I slept in till 1 PM after staying up far too late playing Palworld and honestly I don't know if that's a good or bad omen for my year to come.
