I mean, fair. But so can lots of things, including therapists. The mental illness is the problem, the AI was just a trigger. It could just as well have been a different one.

The risk of asking an AI model for legal advice is that it will be wrong. While I’m not an expert on therapy, I don’t get the impression that’s the problem.

It would be unreasonable to hold a computer accountable for making mistakes, because how was it to know that doing evil things was wrong on a Wednesday at 3:15 pm?
