Little known fact: I love reading about primatology and adore the works of Dr. Jane Goodall. I was lucky enough to hear speak on 2023 and her work and legacy will outlast us all.

Excellent dinner last night celebrating the class of 2028 at their Exemplar Dinner. Each class selects an individual from air/space power history to serve as the class exemplar. 28’s inductee was A1C John Leviton (MOH).

My newest book comes out today. I also received an email that the last surviving member of the bombing squadron featured in the book VB-11, Richard E. “Dick” Miralles (101 next month) was able to see a copy and hear his story told from my perspective. Dick turned 19 on 27 July, 1943 on Guadalcanal.
