It's all those pokemon cards apparently.
Multiple other factors - weekend vs weekday, many people still on holiday through next week, it's snowing in central to northern NJ today (more people staying home or taking the train), etc, etc.
We do need to track data though otherwise the discussion gets overrun by anecdotes.
