Had an idiot in one of our business meetings mention the Defense Department, then correct himself with "sorry, the Department of War" and only the knowledge that it would be a career-limiting move kept me from coming off mute and correcting him...

I think what we really need, is for the Democratic party to stand up *for* more of the American people, rather than *against* Trump.
They need to broaden their focus and sharpen their message, instead of just focusing on the voting block of the middle class that will keep them in office...

They're positioning Shady Vance right now to be his replacement. I don't think Vance is popular even with the MAGA cult, but these people have taken the reins of power; they're not going to give them up easily, even if their figurehead dies...
