James Earl Jones and I both had to deal with lost luggage at the same time and place once. He got better service from the airline than I did, but we had a nice chat (I'd just seen him in a "Jack Ryan" film in the hotel the night before, coincidentally.)

That's what I do when the bike lanes are blocked by couriers, cops, taxis... - and not just on Bloor.
I tow a trailer most of the time I'm in the bike lanes, so if I don't take the lane I risk getting clipped by inattentive drivers. I'm not being vindictive, I'm just being visible.

It's also usually easier to lock your bike when you put the Ulock around the post first, then your bike (which results in the lock being on "your" side, too.)

Since this isn't my usual bike centric rally, I'm trying to come up with a good sign slogan. I'm leaning towards "Cities are for people, not parking!" or something along those lines.
