What else we can we do?
Maybe a tax on all imported cars, with export credits?
Why not increase GST back to 7%, and use the money to reduce EI premiums. EI now includes a variety of Special Benefits for sickness/disability, maternity, new parents & caregiving.
EI and CPP premiums are taxes on jobs.
