You will be blocked. I came here for enlightenment not titillation.
I think he said Greta Thunberg was a bit earlier. This makes his parody in South Park all the more relevant.
Peter Thiel is calling Pope Leo the Antichrist. Honestly, that sounds like something the Antichrist would say.

Just heard an introduction to a BBC World News programme “ Is the Pope woke?”. Remember when being woke simply meant that you were slightly aware and concerned about the shit-show that was unfolding around you?

I can’t see a way out for anyone who opposes Trump. They’ll vote next year but won’t win because the seats are gerrymandered even more. They may protest, but ICE and troops will be deployed. I’m sorry but it may take a lot of blood to change this outcome. When 40% don’t vote this seems inevitable.

I’m not a fan of Melania, but I think it would be hilarious if she won the peace prize next year while her husband missed out again

These will soon be stranded assets. China and India are rolling out solar at staggering rates. Including storage.
Before it won the 2022 federal election, the Labor Party promised stronger action to curb climate change. Since then, it has approved coal and gas projects that will emit a cumulative 6.5 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide. satpa.pe/Fix1oXv
Labor’s slate for fossil fuel approvals
The Albanese government has already approved 31 fossil fuel projects, and more than that are waiting, even as renewables overtake coal as the top source of electricity.

I found this well reasoned and sensible.

The Trump administration's motto seems to be that anyone who contradicts them will be called names. This highlights the immaturity of this government. I'd like to say Levitt needs counselling, but to be honest, I think an exorcism would be better. Don't know how those crosses don't burn her.

A lot of reposts from @thesaturdaypaper.com.au regarding Credlins & Abbotts oversized influence in the Liberal party. I’m good with it. Provided the ALP is not consumed by hubris they could beat Pig Iron Bob’s record for the longest term in government.

Read a great line in the paper today about why the Nats are keen to renegotiate now to get their perks back. "Never stand in the way of a National MP & a white car"
May 24, 2025 at 6:36 AM
I can’t help but feel that the Nationals realised that they’d go to minor party status and lose entitlements, staff, and remuneration with this “split”. As a result, they hit the panic button and told Littleproud to reopen talks with Ley. Unsure why farmers vote for them they’re a miners party now

It must be wonderful to be a billionaire. You can wrap yourself up in a bubble, delude yourself with your wisdom and be so far removed from everyone else, you have no idea what goes on for the unwashed 99% of us

My hope in the next few days is that the Sky after dark pundits give 2 pieces of advice to the Coalition:
1. Make Angus Taylor the leader
2. Move your policies further to the right.

I honestly can’t believe what happened tonight.
May 3, 2025 at 1:44 PM
In a grotesque display of his ego, Trump claimed the Canadian election result was caused by himself (true, but WTF?). Wonder if he’ll do the same with what happened tonight in Australia.

After the gym I buy my dad and myself a coffee. Sometimes, we split a fruit toast with. When I hand over $20 still get 50c change. When I'm asked for extra it'll be my last. No beef with the cafe, great owner, hires plenty of people. Can't afford any more than that.

Two things I’d like to see on the #7afl coverage. No more than 5 gambling ads per hour and stop the excessive hyperbole with the intro narration. I’m barracking for Brisbane because Collingwood.

I don’t often barrack for Port Adelaide in the AFL. But hats off for tonight’s display against Hawthorn, a team I utterly despise.

The insurrection act and Trump. Potentially only 2 weeks away. Hands off protesters could be fired upon now that there are no “adults” in the room with the President.
