Any elected Dem who expresses anything more sympathetic than “eat shit in hell you fascist fuck” should be treated with suspicion.
If they’re worried about a bad reaction they can stay silent or deflect and talk about working families and the economy or something like they always do on tough issues

When it happens I understand Dems in government will feel compelled to release some sort of statement. I just hope it’s the lamest most generic condolence statement ever. Something along the lines of “I’m sorry that’s how he died”
