Received my 10-year "red badge" last week. It's wild and breaks my brain to think that I've been at a tech job for that long. They've always had about a 2 year expiration. I'm a little annoyed that it's not a 15-year purple, which it otherwise would be, but they're not counting pre aqui-hire time.

As a newly-licensed teen I was worried about the city putting speed guns and license plate readers on city buses. Today, I'm more worried about a private Tesla partnership with Flock (license plate reading) and Clearview (face recognition), given that each car has eight cameras already.
