I'm not crazy about Newsom, for many reasons. But I will proudly stand with anyone, of any ideology, who is willing to defend our democracy against Trump. Literally nothing else matters. We can go back to squabbling over each other's purity after we've dealt with this existential threat.

I've decided that if I miss a day, it's okay to make it up the next day--as long as I stay on top of it and don't fall back any further. It's my personal creative project and I'm making the rules.
