I have not yet figured out what the solution to this is. How does the USA avoid this outcome. Amazing few in Government, and nearly nobody of wealth, is going to stop it.

I never see one here in the UK because the Tesla Cybertruck is currently illegal to drive on UK roads because it doesn't meet the country's safety and construction standards.

Indeed. So... what IS his future? I know that he got a pretty good contract extension back in April, but I have lost track of where he fits in to the Sox plans.

Two position players - but no pitching moves. Curious your take on Bernardino vs Campbell. I get the 'too many lefties' bit, but it seems that for someone to get outs in the 9th so you can avoid Chapman, I'd just take the best I've got - left or right. (Seeing your insights - I'm not well informed)

Also: Nick Pivetta is doing rather well for the Padres this year.

I once was coming from London in such conditions - I ended up in... Dallas

I agree totally. If, for example, the NOAA research laboratories were 'zeroed out' (as they are in the 2026 President's Budget), that is 1000 folks looking for work. They will take what they can get, start on those new paths.

I agree with your position, Alan, and that of some of the responses. If what was NOAA ESRL (now GSL, PSL, GML, and CSL) were to be zeroed out (as per the 2026 President's Budget) that is over 1000 scientists. Many will move to non science paths, and yes, likely permanently.

Bad indeed. This brings up a dilemma.

In 2023 and 2024, the Red Sox were 2nd in the league in errors. In 2025, the Sox have more errors than any team.

To keep changing players (like Kike vs Story at SS), but get the same basic result (lots or errors) implies that, perhaps, it isn't the players?

Good to ponder. For a team that spent/traded their way to adding: Bregman, Crochet, Buehler, Chapman, and also 'added' via recovery from injury: Story and Giolito... to not have a better record than this time a year ago... well, yeah, seems something needs to change.

"If Labour weren't such total cowards"... so why are they doing so? What is the reason to cave in? They WON the election by being not-Tory and not-Reform, yet here we are not even 1 year in and Starmer is turning Labour into the thing people voted against.
