I think there's every chance that there isn't more to the Epstein Files than we already know. Epstein and Maxwell were horrific abusers of women. Some of their friends were too. But Trump fed the conspiracies recklessly and endlessly. But MAGA would rather keep believing than admit they were duped.

Hard agree. It's long past time for Dems and the left to meet the grave threat we are facing with all the tools at our disposal. Gerrymandering sucks. It isn't fair. But they don't care about fairness. And we aren't going to save ourselves by pointing at the rule book and whining about it.
Dems should fight on every front.

If Texas steals 5 seats, Dem states should redistrict 30 GOP members out of their districts.

We should insist DOJ release the entire Epstein File.

Not only shouldn't we bring knives to a gun fight, if they bring pistols, we should bring machine guns.

HOW the City of Los Angeles stays BROKE

We encourage everyone to ask your elected officials: "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING ABOUT THESE LIABILITY PAYOUTS?"

The MAGA media machine is now in full spin mode, trying to rebrand Ghisaline Maxwell as a "victim" and she and Epstein's victims as "perpetrators". Making my heart a stone and just watching dispassionately to see if the cult buys it. I'm taking the over.

Welp, your grandparents are getting kicked off Medicaid, FEMA's gutted, the wars in Ukraine and Israel are raging, the cost of tariffs are about to hit, and a convicted sex trafficker just made a deal with the government to get a softer bed... but at least brown people are suffering. #winning

Voted for Kamala Harris. and would do it again. But I'm kind of glad she's not running for governor. For many reasons I think this is the right move. And I know she'll be back in public life soon.

You don't need the Epstein files to know that Trump has always been a dangerous creep with women. He's a groomer and rapist. He's nothing but a foul skin balloon filled with a gloppy stew of privilege, greed, and vengeance. His followers know this. They don't care. Hard to believe that will change.

That Mehdi Hasan "Surrounded" is fucking terrifying. 20 uneducated, incoherent fools competing to see who can be the most out loud fascist is nearly impossible to watch. And their eyes... glazed and vibrating with ignorance and hatred. I watched 5 minutes. Gonna need 5 days to recover.

A lot of of Gen X couples washing the dishes and listening to Crazy Train tonight and I am here for it. Rest in power #Ozzy.

You know Trump is in trouble with this Epstein shit, because the only way to distract his base is by smearing two famous black heroes. He broke the glass and pulled the racism switch. Sure, this makes his people happy, but is it enough to make them forget he's a pedophile creep? Maybe? Probably?

Tim Walz:Trump is just weird.

MAGA: Whatever, your son cried on TV.

Trump sends a known pedo a horny birthday letter with a sharpie drawing of a woman and his signature as the bush.

MAGA: uh… yeah… whatever… that’s, uh, fine. Shut up you, uh… lib.

We've had the pleasure of watching a bunch of a screeners recently and S3 Foundation, S1 Ballard and S3 Strange New Worlds are all pretty great. A lot of good TV incoming. Let's hope it all stays alive.

The moment of silence as the telemarketer switches the phone to his headset, and over the noise of a hundred other calls behind them, they say desperately, "How are you today?!"

Authoritarians require your compliance, and they secure it using three main tactics. The best and easiest is to give you treats and rewards in exchange for your passivity. You're safe, and whatever bad things they may be doing are happening to other people. 🧵 1/4

I think this is the order: 1) Learn your craft... writing, design, illustration, etc. 2) Earn the bruises of reaching and falling and reaching again. 3) Learn to think critically. 4) Then, maybe, use AI to make some part of your work easier. Because having a saw doesn't make you a carpenter.

Bill Moyers was a lot of things. But to 15-year-old nerdy me, home sick from school and watching PBS, he was the guy who introduced me to Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey. Which changed my brain. He also modeled how a grown person could stay vulnerable and curious. RIP a an absolute legend.

Trump, close-talking America and saying we're the "hottest country right now" with (probably) the smell of Arby's and Altoids on his breath is really making me want to call HR.

On this Father's Day I'm just sitting here thinking about how much pain, suffering, and money could have been saved if Donald Trump's Dad had just hugged him a little.
