I completely forgot about the new measures. I have students meet me there for field trips - felt bad forcing them to do it. And just felt silly going through the whole procedure.

I’m curious on how many people are saying this also had the value of their homes rocket up. Which do they value more? Affordable homes or increased value of their own home.

Crossing guards are just safety band-aids. It says a lot that we need them at all and the use of them is the wrong approach. Inconvenience cars for the safety of pedestrians, especially kids

I often think police forget where they actually fit in the whole process - that they are actors of the state.
Shouldn’t surprise me though since they think their work is the reason for a reduction in the Crime Severity Index.
