In college football, the 12 playoff teams are spread across 10 states, and the largest metro areas represented are Dallas, Austin, Phoenix, and Atlanta. The state of Indiana has two teams, while New York and California each has none.

Pair this with a Ghost Runner rule if the Golden AB batter’s spot in the order comes up while he’s still on the bases as a runner. Imagine Shohei calling out “Ghost Runner on 2nd” while jogging from 2nd base to the plate to hit again.
