The right's MO has been to manipulate and be the loudest, because they know their policies and positions won't be popular and they don't care. They wouldn't be pushing so hard to force through bullshit and demonize all their opponents if they felt it was popular.

I feel that. I have lived in Texas my whole life, and it’s become such a love/hate relationship. There are many people I love and wouldn’t trade for the world, but the politics comprise the majority of the hate for me. I just want to be there for my friends, family, and ‘cule.
