I've lost 500+ followers on Tw*tter since the US election. Most have gone in the last 3 days. My reach there is still good, but I wonder how long that will last. I've reconnected w/ folk on bsky who migrated 12-18 months ago. Feels like 2015 again but a long way to go as my following is still small.

My concerns over a small following are those of the self-employed. A decent following has been helpful for networking, research, queries, commissions, promoting book & tour. Last time a SM migration like this occured it contributed to the sinking of my music business. I'm quietly concerned.
