Generational shifts in media can be a bit overstated as it's all just tabloid gossip again and again.

My brain strictly uses software to calculate distance as I have amblyopia, but with humans, I imagine we needed stereopsis or "lidar" to build the mental model first

As a whole MillXennials are the savviest of web users mostly because we're more accustomed to navigating multiple sources- TV, YouTube, Radio, Podcast, Magazines Newspapers, Blogs, decentralized and centralized web
Other generations seem to take their primary mediums at face value and run with it.

The 20th century is littered with intellectuals who thought they fundamentally understood how a society should be structured only to become the next generations dystopia.
I doubt any of us are any better at understanding why we whine so much.

Perhaps to study consciousness we shouldn’t be so proud. Yes we could be the most conscious being in this galaxy and beyond, but still inadequate at grasping what is possible.

If dreaming protects the visual cortex from being hijacked by other brain regions, this makes a more solid case to argue that animals dream as well.
