And I'm not a crunchy anti-tech parent. My kids both had phones when they were quite young (8 or so, if I remember) but they didn't have internet access on them; just a camera, a music player, and texting.

There's also always the light sprinkling of boomer racism. Every single story he tells, he has to mention at least once that call centers are overseas and have thick accents, or some other shit 🙃
