They should start funding SRO shelter rooms (like hotel/motel rooms) until unsheltered people are properly housed, too.

Getting people indoors into their own rooms is the best option. Vermont had over 2000 people in hotel rooms before. If the housing isn't there IMMEDIATELY, hotel rooms are the best option. You can get services there, and the outreach workers can find you.

Nope, more like someone who needs a room, actually. It's not about boosting a hotel/motel's revenue, it's about treating unsheltered homeless people with dignity & safety. If you're worried about capitalism, you should look at homeless industrial complex first.

It's mostly legal in a lot of states, but it's usually only temporary, and doesn't really lead to permanent housing. Hotel stays if they're long enough, do.

Which you can have if you're staying at a hotel/motel, too.

They should get EVERYONE who is outside indoors,EVERYWHERE. Give them their own room until they're housed.

Which doesn't readily exist, as the article points out. People keep ignoring the need & effectiveness of placing people into motel/hotel rooms until they become housed.

Sen. Ron Wyden is calling on DHS to cease what he describes as an illegal abuse of customs law to reveal the identities of social media accounts tracking the activity of ICE agents.
Wyden Blasts Kristi Noem for Abusing Subpoena Power to Unmask ICE Watcher
“DHS apparently is trying to expose an individual’s identity in order to chill criticism of the Trump Administration’s immigration policies.”

Now if you can just do something about the abysmal and horseshit policies of Hennepin and others in regards to homelessness.
