She led by example.

Love and respect to you, Radhika, if you happen to see this somehow.

(Here we are looking at a little Oscar night flashback with Jessica Chastain. I love this photo.) ❤️

There’s much to say, but I’ll just say this instead:

Radhika Jones was a sublime editor at Vanity Fair. I’m grateful to have worked for her for six years.

She deserves more credit for giving the magazine a sense of integrity, honor and intelligence alongside the glamour.

Respect to her. Always.

When Chris talked to me at VF three year ago, here's what he said about discovering Alzheimer's lurking in his own DNA.

“My concern was I just didn’t want to manipulate it and overdramatize it, and make it into some sort of hokey grab at empathy ... It’s not like I’ve been handed my resignation.”
November 18, 2025 at 4:13 PM
Chris shared his fears, his hopes, his history and his family's photographs. Among them was this one:

“A lot of people, especially people who have grown up with him, say, ‘Oh gosh, you look just like your dad,’” Chris tells me. “And there's certain photos where *I* kind of double-take at times.”

I hope this story resonates with others who are facing similar challenges and wondering what to do.

“Capture as many memories as possible,” the actor tells us as his dad confronts the diagnosis. He chronicles his experience in the new NatGeo doc A Road Trip To Remember.

The book is unsettling but also has moments of such grace, such as this passage.

The last two lines… 💔

This book is enthralling — “Good Boy” by Neil McRobert, aka @talkscaredpod.bsky.social

Eerie story of a man & his dog—and a stretch of ancient land with weird secrets.

Dog parents will enjoy it especially. It captures that bond so beautifully.

What “It” was to friendship, “Good Boy” is to pets.

The writer-director of #Roofman also could hardly believe it was a true story.

If you've seen Derek Cianfrance's hilarious and heartbreaking film, here's what really happened:

What was your first encounter with Diane Keaton?

She had a whole lifetime of performances, but this was my introduction.

The producers of "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within" even made pin-up photos of Aki and the male co-star, "Gray Edwards."

Aki ranked #87 on the Maxim 100 list of babes. (Jessica Alba was #1.) Gray ... I don't know where this ran. I guess that's the point.

About 24 years ago, I wrote this story:

"Dawn of Digital: Computers Generate a First—Lifelike Actors For Feature Films."

Many of the things said about Tilly Norwood were said here: She's getting an agent, she will star in all sorts of projects, and she can do anything a filmmaker wants. 🤔

Opening lines don’t get better than this:

“Grandma! I remember her birth.”

Ray Bradbury, forever. But especially in October. 🍁

The official cast photo for Spaceballs 2 has been released by @realjoshgad.bsky.social.

Perfect. 🍕

If anyone needs reminding, this pic spoofs another famous image from years ago:

Here’s the portrait Jesus had Leonardo da Vinci release to commemorate the start of production on “Christianity.”

This happened today in 1973.

The world could have had another half-century of music from Jim Croce. He was only 30.

Grateful for what he left behind, though…

In the Sundance offices in LA, there was a wall full of clocks indicating the time in New York, London, Tokyo, etc…

One of them just said “Bob Time.”

I don’t know if it was just set to Mountain, since Redford was so often in Utah, or if they actually changed it based on where he was in the world.

Plus, how great was this?

“I have never loved my country more desperately. God bless America. Stay strong. Be brave. And if the elevator tries to bring you down, go crazy and punch a higher floor!” — Stephen Colbert *

Well, well, well …

Look who made the cover of “John Wayne” magazine. Again.

Better luck next time, Gacy.

This was an atmospheric place to read “Pipe Dreams,” a hilarious retelling of Robert Altman and Robin Williams’ misadventures making “Popeye.”

You can even see a little pirate ship out there.⚓️
