He is uninspiring and has no creativity. Scared to take on Farage. He drives me to despair. So does Yvette Cooper. Both Starmer and Cooper are as right wing as Farage when it comes to immigration.

Braverman was my MP. I have a file of letters from her claiming the benefits of Brexit! I used to ask her about her father who came here from Kenya and was allowed to build a new life. She failed to see the irony of her anti-immigration stance. She is off her box and thinks others are thick.

I would say it’s a disaster. Social care in crisis and we need migrants to help us.

And FDR was right.

Can’t take being beaten in an argument!😄

I have followed the whole debacle closely. Try reading Prof Chris Grey’s blog. If you are a European you should be pushing for this country to get back in the EU. I reluctantly voted for Starmer to be the leader but he has disappointed me greatly. We don’t need any more austerity.

You are supposed to be a proud European! but he is floundering around. If you want growth get back into the single market. You will not beat the right wing on its own turf. Farage has said that. They are playing into Reform’s hands. Deportation videos are a Tory thing Get real.

So disappointed with Starmer. He has no progressive ideas at all. More Tory than any Tory. Scared of upsetting people even when they have already upset many who thought we would get progessive change. Appalling.

Starmer is moving the Labour Party further to the right. He is timid and scared to make any sort of progressive move. Yvette Cooper is as bad as any Tory Home Sec and Rachel Reeves is like George Osborne. A Labour govt is imposing more austerity!!

Agreed. Thoroughly depressing.

Because right now. It just feels like we’re living under the Tories again.

Except without hope that there’s something a bit better round the corner.

And that’s not a good place. #r4today

Dear Zoe. Angela Rayner interviewed on BBC. The comments in the HYS are blaming immigration for the housing crisis. A number are xenophobic and repeat simplistic solutions taken from the media. I made a comment saying the BBC was complicit in selling xenophobia and they banned it!

She’s just an ordinary person, nothing ‘royal’ about her at all. She’s probably a nice girl but that’s it The royal family is an expensive anachronism.

Pathetic, Lowe. Grow up.

I am over 50, and in the generation of "bloody immigrants!", I think that we should have far more immigration because, jobs need filling, more people earning = tax = more money for essential services + it enriches our lives and culture. There is no downside.

Canada was amongst the first to our aid when we were under attack by the last lot of Nazis and she was with us to the end when together we beat the bastards. I suggest you three remember that in your dealings with the mafia boss Trump and his gangsters.

Reminds me of the KKK and images of lynchings. Very scary and shocking. They too had a frightening flag but red and white horizontal flag. Where will it end?
