The 3 biggest racists in modern British history are Oswald Mosley, Enoch Powell and Nigel Farage. Starmer sided with Powell in his "Island of Strangers" speech. He's sided with Farage in his new immigration plan. At this point, who's to say he wouldn't have also sided with Mosley at Cable Street?

Britain can't afford Brexit.

The greatest fascist trick in MAGAmerica right now is to come out everyday with such bullshit that it throws the opponents off guard. In normal life, you never have to formulate answers to obvious nonsense. You just dismiss it. So the need to reply to this crap creates a short-circuit in your brain!

An extra 2% on incomes above £10 million won't pay for everything. It will, however, go a long way to restoring a sense of fairness.

This makes me think that maybe Adam and Eve were really androids, and the tree of knowledge was an AI upgrade that gave them sentience ...
(Sure there's a Netflix series in there somewhere)

It would certainly be an interesting development. But I think a lot of those who are unhappy – in particular the Co-op MPs – will try to reboot the party from within. At this point, though, with Blue Labour going crazy and ruining so many re-election chances, anything's possible!

This headline from 2022 is getting more and more true by the day.

WTF! These are people not numbers on a page. How can you expect refugees to integrate, feel pride in their new home or work for the common good if you treat them like animals who can be expelled at any moment? What about the children of refugees who only speak English? You'll deport them like Trump?

If such performative cruelty worked, then May, Patel, Braverman, Cooper and now Mahmood would have all been a success. The fact that they all clung to the same hostile environment policies, despite them obviously failing, shows not only a lack of competence and morality but also of intelligence.

That would be the same Gardiner who was against a 2nd Brexit ref because it would anger the far-right (who are always angry anyway!). They're all as bad as each other. Such a mess!

Part of the problem was a lady, now passed I believe, called Alison Fuller Pedley. She selected the audiences for Question Time and needed to be reprimanded for sharing far-right posts by the neo-facist group Britain First.

Here's the amount of times Farage was on Question Time as an MEP (for UKIP and The Brexit Party). They never had a pro-EU MEP on to balance the opinion.
