In the corrupt environment of the Trump administration there is nothing that is too far off the charts. This provision in the spending bill will pass and disappear into the GOP political monetizing of government power.

No one ever believed furloughed workers would be fired nor that they wouldn’t be paid.
The line in the sand was ACA financial support and THAT is nowhere close to being resolved.

Trump has caused generational damage at so many levels it’s almost incomprehensible. Not only will it take decades to repair the nation’s reputation abroad but who would want to commit a career to government service now?
Trump’s legacy will include loading the government with incompetent hacks.

And yet she can still look at herself in the mirror.

It will be worse. The Dems capitulated and Trump smells blood in the water.

This rollover by the Dems will completely neutralize them until 2026 and arguably will hurt their chances of gains in the election.
Trump knows he has their number and he’s a man who will crush you when he has the advantage.
