If anyone needs a Flutter atproto oauth package I had Claude port a 1:1 recreation of the Expo package, seems to be working fine besides some deep link handling.
I will probably port to it's own repo when I'm sure it's free of bugs and have some time. #atproto

Core backend work for Aggregators on Coves is hopefully done.
Really excited to test it out, a huge problem with new forum platforms is the lack of content. Aggregators is similar to feed generators here on bluesky. They will allow automated posts to communities, anyone can own, build, or port them

I've been thinking for awhile atproto is the perfect usecase for some of these DE tools.
Appviews could theoretically host a lakehouse on HTTPS and anyone could spin up their own DuckDB or Trino compute and read it. It prevents so much effort by third parties for aggregation, ML, data discrepancies

There's an incredibly hilarious irony watching in real time the investors who funded divisive misinformation algorithms to arbitrarily inflate their metrics now falling victim to the extremist hate algorithms they profited from.

Took the majority of today to get a @tangled.sh knot set up on my handles subdomain.
All things considered wasn't too complicated, especially given I used a VPS as a proxy + tailscale.

How does one prevent the rise of authoritarianism & hatred through non-violent means?
There must be a proportional response to hatred & authoritarianism. Without accountability, the pot overboils. Without considering this any point discussion the prior is moot.

Political violence disproportionately hurts people with less power, not people with more power. Political violence will disproportionately hurt people of color and women and LGBTQ people. It’s not fair, but that’s the way it works. Celebrating political violence means at best indifference to that.
Political violence is bad. It usually begets more political violence.

Campus shootings are bad. They make everyone on campus less safe.

I often wonder why my utilization of AI seems so much better than others. Then I read of how others utilize it
AI is not your assistant, it is your shovel, you must set a detailed plan, turn on verbose mode, read every thought, correct any assumptions at runtime, and use git &unit tests religiously

I asked it to pull the SSA demographic statistics from the US government. Its web crawler was blocked from accessing the site, but it lied to me and said that it pulled them. When I manually compared the data, I saw it used a simple function to fake it (life expectancy 85, with some noise).
