Do either of you find it strange that Edu has not yet been announced in a new job? His garden leave ended a couple of months ago now. At the time I thought there was more to his departure than the links to the first owners group. Thoughts?

Can anyone explain to me why Cole Palmer gets such a free ride from pundits/commentators? I rate him highly but there is no getting away from the fact he’s had a really poor second half of the season. But doesn’t seem to get a mention, just gets lauded.

Final thought: our own faults aside, it feels kinda typical of our season that a bloke gets sent off the weekend before and should miss the game but the red is overturned, and then it looks like he scores a winner against us with his elbow but VAR can't decide for sure he did or didn't. 😑
I know "focus" is on PSG etc, but we have a job to do in the Premier League too. Our recent form in the league has been pretty woeful, just 3 wins from the last 10 games.

I know we have problems with injuries, but we're being reeled in by teams behind us.

This was not good prep for PSG either.
I have some doubts over the legitimacy of their second goal, but I have no doubts about how sloppy and careless that Arsenal performance was.

Their first goal was too easy, and our second half display was half-arsed – which I kinda understand in the context of this week, but it's still annoying.

So far this Williams is having a bit of a poor game. Bit worth 300k a week at this rate!

This Lamine Yamal kid isn’t a bad football player is he?! Insane that Barcelona have developed another one!

If Arsenal took half as many risks in the final third as they do in their own half, they'd score a lot more and win more.

@gunnerblog.bsky.social @arseblog.com listened to the pod last night as always. Very good! What concerned me about the comment of “whatever we do now will impact us in the summer”- surely a striker was a target in the summer? So surely we would just be moving the signing forward?

Always thought Chelsea at the back end of 2020-21 were the gold standard for implausibly excellent defences in recent years. The numbers looked broken. They gave up about 0.6 xG per game.

Arsenal in their last 10 Premier League games? 0.6 xG allowed per game.

Delighted with the result today! Let’s hope we kick on this month like we did last Jan!

@arseblog.com @gunnerblog.bsky.social I was surprised this wasn’t asked on todays Arsecast extra, Do you think Dan Ashworth will end up at Arsenal now that United have let him go, given his relationship with Richard Garlick?

This place still feels a bit small, not football focused, but maybe we could try and connect Arsenal fans at least.

If you are an Arsenal fan, leave a reply, people can follow, also please repost or whatever it's called her and hopefully it can spread. #arsenal
