Eh, I disagree. When Daise’s shield was up you could see several arrows penetrating it at virtually the same time and in different areas. I think it was trollocks.

That may have been more for Elayne’s benefit than the audience. You can see her realize what “hills” refers to just before the second verse. 😂

It’s all good! Love your thoughts. He noble upbringing certainly helps with lots of things, not the least keeping her distance from intimacy and closeness. The Aes Sedai reputation also helps. The culture clash with the E5, her aloofness rubbing against their stubbornness, is well done.

I imagine most interactions for her are awkward. She’s spent the last twenty years only really communicating with two people-one through the Warder Bond and the other infrequently and in secret. Every other interaction was deceptive in some way. The whiplash is emotionally trying.
