Yes and obviously getting rid of parking mandates that require businesses to have their own parking that is only used 35% of the time. Empty lots people can't use during evenings and weekends in busy areas are really frustrating for people.

I really like the shared parking set up. We need a lot less single-use parking in our city

He's been on record for opposing transparency for 6 months now....one vote isn't going to change that.

I hope you're right on the cleansing part of that...

And also, no single form of transportation is designed for every single person. That would be impossible. This is why designing streets for various transportation types is important.

I'm starting to think the media's biggest miss was stopping airing Trump's speeches. They quit airing them because of the lying, but I think people need to see and hear the reality of who is at the helm of this national at the moment

Regardless of what your opinion was of the economy they inherited; Making it better and not worse would have been good

I never said that Trump knows what he's talking about. But he is a republican, and did say that the shutdown was a factor.
November 11, 2025 at 6:05 PM
"I think if you read the pollsters, the shutdown was a big factor, negative for the Republicans," Trump said at a breakfast with Republican senators

Trump says election puts shutdown pressure on Republicans but wants to end filibuster
After Republicans lost big in Tuesday's elections, adding pressure to end the government shutdown, President Trump pushed changes to Senate rules to bypass the need for Democratic-votes.

Forcing the House to come back to work could be its own special type of win

Also not a fair fight when you quit fighting.

The democrats literally just swept the off year election 5 days ago and republicans were saying the shut down was a contributing reason. They got dealt an ace and folded anyway.

I’m old enough to remember when bad interest-only loans and people had no equity in their homes tanked the economy in 2008

Yup. Exactly.

Basically an interest-only loan for 20 years. Terrible for building wealth

Due to drought & low cattle herd numbers domestically, the US was already setting records for volume of imported beef. And Trump then sets tariffs against Mexico, Canada and Brazil (our largest suppliers of imported Beef). I really hope the DOJ gets to the bottom of who may be at fault for this.

In fairness, a lot of things in civics books have been tossed to the curb by this administration, this congress and this Supreme Court

The first apartment I lived in when I graduated from college became available because the previous tenant was murdered. I was glad to have that apartment. And the woman that lived below me complained about me making too much noise I’m like “at least non one is dead”
