Totally get it. NFL jerseys have to be the toughest to pick players who won't eventually leave. Used to be franchise QBs were a sure thing, but even those guys move around a lot late in their careers now. Also seems Hawks don't really have the "cool" old school legends to get jerseys of like the M's

I was thinking Iwakuma after the 2015 season when he initially signed with the Dodgers. LA ended up voiding the deal because of his medicals and he came back to the M's for a couple more years.

Apparently not enough when you get in these pitching-dominated marathons. Baseball should also want their megastars to get opportunities to make unforgettable moments.
