I'm shaking my head in disbelief every time JSN catches a Sam Darnold pass. It's the same feeling as when Cal Raleigh took off this year.

JSN is in the superstar Seahawks WR category that used to only include Steve Largent.

Was wondering this week which of the Seahawks or Huskies were most at risk of a trap game this weekend.

So, uh, go buy your Sam Darnold jerseys because this dude is SOMETHING
Of people who own Seahawks jerseys, what percentage do you think have one of a current player? Has to be super low. I feel like the majority I see around town are still Russ, DK and Bobby. Kind of emblematic of how this version of the team, while good, hasn't yet captured the fanbase's imagination.

Sam Darnold is playing out of his mind. Arroyo didn't catch that TD so much as found it in his hand.

Darnold’s accuracy is outrageous right now. Just laser pointing it out there.

Been a long time since a Mariners player hit free agency and the response was "gotta get them back."
I mean... Hisashi Iwakuma? Kendrys Morales?

Josh Naylor is a priority for the #Mariners this offseason, but his free agency is a kind of situation M's fans haven't been accustomed to -- and it will probably make for an uncomfortable next few months as a result.

Expect uncomfortable Seattle Mariners pursuit of Josh Naylor
While pending free agent Josh Naylor is a top priority for the Seattle Mariners, signs do not point to it being an easy fit this offseason.

Gonna be some very conflicted feelings in Canada when Freddie Freeman suits back up in the red and white in next year's World Baseball Classic.

From the "Thing That Isn't A Problem Until It's A Problem" file, baseball should probably institute a three intentional walk maximum per game, and make it regardless of extra innings.

So that 6th inning for Toronto:
- 2 HR
- 4 singles
- 2 BB
- 1 HBP
encapsulates their entire deal and shows what makes them so dangerous. No strikeouts, obviously! and also two tanks.
Doing both is the absolute nearly-impossible ideal. And they're doing it.

The real reason the #Mariners lost in the ALCS to the Blue Jays is about much more than one pitching change before a critical at-bat in Game 7, writes @brentstecker.bsky.social.

Seattle Mariners ALCS loss about more than a pitching change
The pitching change before George Springer's home run gets the attention, but the Seattle Mariners' ALCS loss exposed holes worth addressing.

Blue Jays were the better team. The Mariners looked out of gas and an arm short, because they only had four reliable relievers and most of their starters were a bad matchup for the Jays so they got seen a lot.
But the Mariners had the opportunity to win that game and pressed the wrong buttons.
