Now you've gotta build a Sopwith Camel from scratch.

Never saw this on the racks, but I did get issue 2 which I then read countless times.

I think it had the first mention of the STAR WARS novel when Luke was still called Starkiller.

Had a subscription as of issue 4.

Picked up all 10 volumes of BAREFOOT GEN for a dollar each.

I've been meaning to read this ever since I read a review of it in THE COMICS JOURNAL in the early 80s.

Now there is no excuse.

(While doing alt-text it changed to DEN D'HIROSHIMA. Now I am imagining Corben drawing it.)

I have the French collection from 1982.

Think it was also collected in Spanish.

Just before Christmas. This is the second year they are being released along with these two.

The turkey dinner is a real nostalgia punch. It tastes just like the dinner Mom made at Christmas.

Yes.

You might also get some who taste like ketchup.

I currently taste like a jerk.

Cover for ashcan edition of AMAZING ADVENTURES.

Ziff-Davis produced this to test the market interest for comics.

It was 8 pages and was sent to subscribers of their SF magazines.

The two stories inside were by Alex Schomburg and Ogden Whitney.

Tonight's movie is the third in Luchino Visconti's "German" trilogy.

I'll be watching the 4 hour and 17 minute cut that has been split into 5 parts so I can also watch Ken Burns' AMERICAN REVOLUTION series.

Looking forward to seeing Romy Schneider reprise her role of Elizabeth "Sissi" of Austria.

$5.00 pick up today.

I love WW2 propaganda cartoons.

Unfortunately the set does not include the long lost short UNCLE WALT TRIES TO BREAK THE UNION.

This was my first (back) issue, and I not only learned about the DC Implosion, I also found out that the Marvel Bullpen was not the amiable and collegial environment I imagined it to be.
