We're stuck in a little bit of traffic, which is good, since the River Line train that I'm taking back up to Central Jersey is at 5:22. This bus is scheduled to get to Walter Rand at 4:53.

We're now in Newfield, and we've gained another passenger! I don't know where she came from, especially because we picked her up from a stop located in an empty field.

In my research, I found that this route is essentially a duplicate of the Atlantic City Rail Line with two park & ride stops (Avandale and Farley) along the ACRL. Farley is in the middle of the AC Expressway, while Avandale is only a 20 minute drive from the Lindenwold PATCO Station.

Now departing Atlantic City on the last route of the day: the 551! This route will take me up the Atlantic City Expressway back to Camden/Philadelphia.

The Atlantic City Bus Terminal is pretty well designed for a bus terminal. It makes the Port Authority Bus Terminal look like the matrix.

The Atlantic City Bus Terminal is located inside of the Tanger Outlets, which is a mall pretending to be a new urbanist neighborhood. Honestly, it looks pretty good.

We've turned onto the Atlantic City Expressway and we're on our way into Atlantic City! Man, there are a lot of billboards on this highway.

Ocean View Park & Ride within the Bruce Willis Service Area in the middle of the Garden State Parkway. You can only get here using a car. We still picked up 2 people, so now there are 10 people (minus myself) headed to Atlantic City.

We're leaving Wildwood, where over half of the bus (16 including myself) boarded. Interestingly, there were already 11 people on the bus when I boarded this bus in Wildwood.

After a much needed restroom break at the Wildwood Bus Terminal, I'm back on the road on the 552 to Atlantic City. This route serves as an important connection between Atlantic City and Wildwood.

We have deviated to Woodbine, where three people got off and one person got on. Getting up here felt like going into Radiator Springs (from Cars). There was a whole lot of nothing, and then suddenly, BOOM, a town.

According to Transit, our next stop isn't until Woodbine at Webster Street. Makes sense, especially since Route 47 has just been surrounded by corn and agriculture.
