Good morning from South Jersey! As a part of my directed study about the viability of Long Distance Transit in New Jersey, I'm riding three South Jersey routes today: the 313, 552, and 551.

On this week's edition of "Can You Wok It?", I made Fettuccine Alfredo. I think it looks edible.

@brentlm.bsky.social, I'm so glad NJ Transit picked you for their internship program. They really got the right guy. America's densest state just wouldn't work without the proud 12,000 people who keep its transit system running, and having been one of those people myself, it's an honor to serve. 🧡💜💙

I should get a refund for my #Rutgers Combo Pack. I had to watch our team go 15-17 with two 5 star recruits. #pirefike

#Rutgers basketball is now 12-14, 5-10 in conference play. The team was somehow able to turn a 7 point lead into an 18 point deficit. I'm starting to think my girlfriend is right about Rutgers being terrible.

Middlesex County RIDE is begging me to come back to microtransit. No thanks. I'll take the 814.

The microtransit vehicle was still 13 minutes away when I threw in the towel and called an Uber after 10 minutes of waiting. @alexdavistransit.bsky.social has been vindicated.

DC Circulator service is being discontinued in five days, and it looks like DDOT has stopped giving a crap about it.

Field goals of 50 yards or longer used to be a rare thing in the NFL. But this season, kickers are hitting them at a record 72% clip — and head coaches are trying them far more often than ever before.
NFL kickers are better than ever from long distance, and that's changing football
