Look who’s here!!
Figured I’d hop on here today for the 15th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act.

With everything going on right now, it’s easy to feel like regular folks can’t make a difference – but the ACA is a reminder that change is possible when we fight for progress.

it’s becoming increasingly clear the goal of the far right is to defund and buy up every source of reliable information until there is no more objective reality to counter them

Did you know that inherited retinal diseases affect 1 in 3000 people worldwide? 🤔 sharing a screen grab from my master’s research animation covering the science of retinal organoid chimeras. Watch it in full on my website! 👁️

With every joke there is a kernel of truth. Which I hate to be reminded of when I joke about getting drafted to fight America in 2030.

My boss gave advice to me and it was essentially to stop sh*tting on myself all the time. lol. Sometimes that inner critic is so strong it can get you in trouble when you are actually doing fine

Chatted with someone about bike lanes, they were adamant about their removal and that they caused traffic. It’s funny when I bring up actual studies showing the contrary is true, and the safety they bring, they just get frustrated and the truth is revealed. They just really don’t like bicyclists lol

On this day, 60 years ago, Martin Luther King Jr. earned the Nobel Peace Prize. At just 35 yo, he received this honor for his unwavering commitment to nonviolence, equality, & justice.

His words & dedication remain relevant & valuable today. In fact, even more so.
Teaching MLK’s work is vital.

BREAKING: In an unprecedented move, more than 75 Nobel Prize winners have signed a letter urging senators not to confirm Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as head of the Department of Health and Human Services.

It's the first time in history that Nobel laureates have come together to oppose a Cabinet choice.

Calgary will host the 2028 International Geological Congress (IGC).

The successful bid was the result of hard work from MRU faculty, students, and alumni. “We’re excited to showcase what Canada — and MRU — can bring to the global stage," Dr. Katherine Boggs says. ow.ly/Cjat50Uh7v2
