Rattlesnake Lake - two fun facts: there's no rattlesnakes, there's a town under the lake. Someone built a dam and didn't know about the gravel in between. This is part of an epic hiking trail that goes from Seattle to Milwaukie

Washington State is littered with these in various state. There are many old tunnels and trestle bridges. This is near Bothell, a more rugged one called Robe Trail. Near Snoqualmie is the worlds longest tunnel turned hiking trail.

The view was taken only half way up this harrowing road. It's wide enough for a car but you may have to pull in the mirrors if a bus comes the other way

Another fun fact: the light at the end of the cave entrance is only about 3 feet (a metre) high. The boat captain must wait for the wave to go down and quickly go through.
