In Jan 2024, I did a Google search on my name to prepare for a job interview. I was excited about the possibility of becoming a professor, and I wanted to find some articles for my “why should you hire me?” talk.

I do not want to be in community with people who actively encourage the proliferation of harm towards others—until it reaches their own doorstep.

These are dangerous and deeply tribalistic people without the requisite level of foresight, empathy, and morality needed to participate in society.

As @brendaneatynes.bsky.social just reminded me, OEB is the same one who wrote manifestations and intentions. “So be it! See to it!”

She was tapped into something more than what folks want to admit. And I don’t know why that’s all of a sudden unsatisfactory.

2025 is a year of more action, more drive, focus, transformation, separations, passion, intensity, and going after what’s yours. it’s very “im gon get what’s mine.” the life of a warrior.

in the latest episode of black. loved. free., I explore releasing toxic relationships, emphasizing the importance of self-worth & boundaries. at the intersection of Black feminism and healing, I advocate for a ruthless self-devotion while in radical abolitionist community.

DO NOT USE PERIOD TRACKING APPS. NONE OF THEM.

23 states have formed a coalition (led by Texas) and are working on legislation to sue for women’s health records and data in order to arrest and incarcerate them and their providers for abortion

Black women are three times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes as White women. Doulas, midwives, nurses and obstetricians are explicitly preparing Black women to speak up loudly for themselves in the delivery room.
