My suspicion today at the Chuck Edwards rally was that he came to Asheville, instead of his home turf of Hendersonville, was so he was not booed by his homies. He can always say Asheville is filled with a bunch of liberal hippies. What he did not count on was Canton booed him first.

@maddow.msnbc.com just left the Chuck Edwards town hall mtg in Asheville NC. He was booed off the stage in Canton NC earlier today. More than 2000 people in Asheville showed up for 350 seats. So many hard questions he stuttered through and two hours of patronizing answers. Resounding resistance!
