My role in life is to bring about change. To ensure history doesn't repeat itself in failing future generations through lack of planning, resilience, and preparedness to manage a pandemic.
This individual is an idiot. He wasted millions of pounds in useless PPE. There is no substance to what he spouts. He doesn't possess common sense, this is obvious every time he opens his mouth. Why when I set eyes on him do I hear the words the scarecrow sing, if I only had a brain?
For Matt Hancock

When you are being asked about the lie regarding the "protective ring" resulting in the deaths of thousands of care home residents, it's not a good look to attack their bereaved families.

I look forward to you recanting the statement and issuing us all an apology

Not only did they slow down the response to Covid, but they helped it spread with their Eat out to Help out. We all know that worked out well for the virus. It got the upper hand whilst the government slapped themselves on the back at how well they had done.
The Covid Inquiry heard today that the government "slowed down" its Covid response in the summer of 2020, because they "wanted to believe that Covid was over."

8/10 Covid deaths have occurred after that slowdown

We were told they followed the science. That was a lie.

What will be the consequences for those who wasted £3.8bn on unsuitable PPE? Unfortunately, I'm sceptical there will be any. These individuals can keep denying until their final breath, but £3.8bn and 1000's of deaths are the consequences of the VIP lane. That is the undeniable truth!
This takes ‘VIP’ lane to next level.

Remember: £3.8bn wasted on unusable PPE & 1000’s of deaths, including my mum’s.

How many people lost their life due to inadequate PPE. Lives and money wasted due to greed. To deny any wrongdoing as those politicians involved have speaks volumes. They really think they are untouchable!

I can remember watching what happened on the news. I remember the feeling of sadness as I thought of those waiting on a loved one to come home only to find out they were never coming home again. I remember feeling angry when the truth finally came out. That's why it is vital, HL is not watered down.
Today & every day we remember the 97 people killed in the Hillsborough disaster.

We stand in solidarity with their families & the survivors who have been leading the fight for justice for 36 years.

A full Hillsborough Law must be their legacy to ensure that the failures are never again repeated.
April 15, 2025 at 1:29 PM
Oh my word, he is doing some whipping up himself. Arms waving about the place. This individual must think our heads button up the back if he thinks his evidence is going to convince me that the VIP lane didn't help fat cats get fatter!
Lord Agnew accused bereaved families of being whipped up 'by a narrative'.

No other government in the world created a 'VIP-Lane' that funnelled billions into the hands of their friends, many of whom then produced unusable PPE.

That's not a narrative; it's the truth.

Grief is a hard enough battle. Can you imagine having to fight for years against institutions to uncover the truth as to how your loved one died. To find out there has been a deliberate act to cover it up would add another layer of pain and anger to the grief you already have.
We, Covid bereaved, @cbffjuk.bsky.social stand alongside many others in campaigning for this law, vital for all of us.

#covidinquiry would be shorter, more effective with it.

Plse consider taking action below & sharing.

The system is broken.

A Hillsborough Law will help fix it.

Ask your MP to read the @INQUEST-org.bsky.social "all or nothing" report by clicking actionnetwork.org/letters/all-...

The families of those who have suffered at the hands of the state make the case better than anyone else possibly could.

The number of campaign groups that have come together with the aim of ensuring the Hillsborough Law is brought about without being watered down tells you why it is needed in its entirety. #AllOrNothing
You may think that Hillsborough Law has nothing to do with you, but beside Hills families are Infected Blood families, Nuclear Test Veterans, Grenfell, Covid Bereaved Families, Truth about Zane, the Post Office, Ruth Perry's family, and many more. It could easily be you in a heartbeat. #AllOrNothing

When you fight for justice, half measures won't do! All or nothing.
Today, bereaved families and survivors have issued a clear warning to Government that Hillsborough Law must be "All or Nothing".

Our new report shows how the injustice following the Hillsborough disaster is still a painful reality today.

Why would any government make decisions that are going to negatively impact the most vulnerable in society?
In Module 1, the Inquiry heard a very clear message from Prof. Sir Michael Marmot;

External shocks expose and amplify underlying inequalities in society.

The consequences of increasing poverty and inequality are deadly. That is a pandemic lesson the government is ignoring.

Four years since the first red heart was painted on the wall. Thank you to all the friends of the wall for not only maintaining the wall but on days like today hanging all the photographs. It means so much to see your loved ones face xo

The evidence is clear!!
Today at the Covid Inquiry, Anna Morris KC highlighted the 'chorus of denial' from those responsible for the unlawful VIP-Lane.

But the evidence is clear. The VIP-Lane prioritised serving the friends of politicians over the delivery of usable PPE.

The consequences were deadly.

This is deeply concerning.

Govt must implement Hillsborough Law in full as we @cbffjuk.bsky.social & many other groups have been campaigning for.

And as @emmanorris.bsky.social argues should be starting point of improving inquiries.

We all know what happened when the tories made their austerity cuts. As a nation, we were left more vulnerable when Covid-19 reached our shores. The only bad mistakes are the ones we don't learn from. Restoring public services has to be a priority!
Everyone in this video lost a loved one to Covid, including me.

We’re campaigning to restore public services so we’re better prepared for the next pandemic.
5 years on from the first day of lockdown, the UK is in a worse position to cope with a pandemic than it was before Covid hit.

We need to prepare public services properly to save lives in the future.

I thought the ultimate goal of a government was to protect the most vulnerable in society. The tories failed during the pandemic. Are Labour going to fail them yet again with their planned cuts? Not a great start to their first term in office after 14 years!
Disabled people 11x more likely to die from covid.

Ahead of today’s Spring Statement, we’ve written to the Chancellor urging her to cancel cuts.

@cbffjuk.bsky.social
Disabled people were 11x more likely to die from COVID-19 than non-disabled people.

Cuts to welfare and public spending more widely led directly to avoidable deaths when the pandemic hit.

That is why we have written to the Chancellor urging her to cancel the cuts.

Today, as a family, we mark mummy's 5th anniversary. Today, we will do our best to remember the wonderful life she lived and not the sad and lonely death she had. Let them not be defined by their death but by their life and the legacy they left for us 💔
March 24, 2025 at 8:29 AM
23rd March 2020 isn't only the night that the then Prime minister Boris Johnson made his lockdown speech. It's the night I took a telephone call to say mum would die from Covid-19 without any of us being there. Five years on its scary to think we are in a worse position than we were then 😔

No explanation from the inquiry can justify not calling suppliers as witnesses. A missed opportunity to hear any evidence contrary to that of then government ministers responsible for wasting millions of taxpayers' money.
TODAY: #covidinquiry hearing evidence relating to PPE Medpro aka Michelle Mone in closed, private session.
Why is the inquiry not calling suppliers as witnesses?

KC Pete Weatherby said it how it is. Mum died due to a lack of preparedness. Many thousands continued to die due to PPE that wasn't fit for purpose. Fat cats were able to take shortcuts via the VIP lane. Shoddy PPE yet still paid millions. They should be answering questions at the inquiry!!!!
Supplier: Meller Designs Ltd
