It was a pleasure to attend last night’s Black History Month celebration and hear from Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy.

Inspiring to meet so many remarkable people, including André who has passed his Bar exams, secured pupillage and like me, is a proud member of Middle Temple.

Great news for renters. The Renters’ Rights Bill is now in place, giving tenants stronger protections, fairer terms and more security in their homes. A big step forward for housing justice and dignity for all renters.

The attack on a Manchester synagogue on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar is horrific.

My thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families and the Jewish community.

We must always stand united against antisemitism and all forms of hatred.

Very pleased to see @teamlabouruk.bsky.social delivering on giving 16 and 17 year olds the vote at the next General Election.

Young people have the passion, insight and stake in our future. It’s only right they have a voice in our democracy.
