Ghislaine Maxwell did not die in Jail under Biden. She was tried, convicted and sentenced to 20 years, under Biden. Survivors were able to sue and claim damages from Epstein’s estate under Biden.

Meanwhile under Trump Epstein evidence is lost, Epstein is killed/suicides/escapes. And Case Closed?

One of the wilder political things in recent history is that Project 2025 publicly released a 900 page document laying out their plans to roll back 100 years of human progress and then during the campaign Republicans just said "no we're not :)" and then they won and now they're doing it all.

Nina (@ninajankowicz.com) did a fantastic job testifying in the latest of the "censorship industrial complex" hearings, noting how the elaborate conspiracy theories from Taibbi & others emerge from profound misunderstandings — and intentional mischaracterizations — of how any number of things work.
🔥 @ninajankowicz.com: "Mr Taibbi said when he was first searching through the so-called Twitter files he didn't know what he was looking at. Well, he still doesn't. Everything looks like a conspiracy when you don't know how anything works."

(2)I was able to find today's April 1st letter by going into my FB feeds section and viewing my "favorites" feed which is where I placed her page long ago and the current letter was indeed there. Hoping this helps someone else find her posts on FB.

If you go to Heather Cox Richardson's page and don't see her most recent letter, but follow her, look in your own feeds section.

Hi folks: Facebook appears to be taking down my posts. Please remember they are available for free here (no paywall), and can be received by email (also free-- just don't put in your credit card information). I guess if I'm being banned I'm doing something right?
The government ignored his protective legal status & deported Abrego Garcia. “Now they claim that the court is powerless to order any relief. If that’s true, the immigration laws are meaningless because the government can deport ANYONE & no court can do anything about it once it’s done.”

Thurmond was the same age as Booker when he set the record Senator Cory Booker just broke.

Thurmond was afforded a bathroom break and read from the encyclopedia. Booker held the floor the entire time and delivered a consistent, cogent speech for more than 24 hours.

Incredible.

Bingo.
Trump’s suggestion that he could run for a third term—and Republican’s tacit openness to the prospect despite its clear unconstitutionality—is a low-key admission they don’t know how to put together a winning coalition without him directly in the ballot. See also: Wisconsin.

No one in Canada has ever declared bankruptcy because of hospital bills.

America is, in fact, alone in this regard.

So a reminder:

It’s not ‘liberals’ saying Hegseth abuses women. It’s his mom.

It’s not ‘liberals’ comparing Trump to Hitler. It’s his vice-president.

It’s not ‘liberals’ calling Musk a liar and a racist. It’s his own child.

For the record.

Thinking more about this. So far every Trump pick has been a real piece of work — incompetent, corrupt and/or sexual abuser. This isn't because Trump is a bad judge of character, it's because that's what he wants — incompetence and moral turpitude guarantee loyalty 1/
