I don't serve an ESL population now, but I taught math and science to ESL students for years. They were some of my hardest working, sweetest, and most appreciative students.

I never saw Everything Everywhere. I love the theme of triumph over evil though. Hunger Games, Divergent, and Marvel are in that category for me.
