conclusion: adult yum3ing minor can be weird in certain cases but it’s pretty much okay to age the character with you if you’ve been yum3ing since you were a similar age as the character
minors yum3sh1pping with adults is also normal, I think they just age themselves up

ig my case with hyou is pretty much that since he’s 17 and I’ve been yum3sh1pping with him since I was like 14/15 maybe so I kinda age him with me but not to the point that I’m completely oblivious to his canon age HELP

like if someone yum3s q1q1 even as a teenager that’s kinda strange but yum3ing a teenager who doesn’t look that young doesn’t seem to pose much of an issue in the public eye? imo I’d mostly only let it pass if they’ve been s3lfsh1pping since they were a minor as well and aged the character with them
