Why is it that when Republicans lose an election, they spend the next four years obstructing the government in every way possible, but when Democrats lose, we get lectures about how Trump has a mandate to kill us all. Do you think fascism is a legitimate interest that we're obliged to respect?

Yeah because the last four years went so well. Democrat or Republican the US is a destabilizing force worldwide and should be treated like the pariah that it is.

...running a corporation (with no concern to what Trump actually does day to day that isn't likely handled by those below him who are far more historically qualified to do so) has nothing in common with being the POTUS. The only experience is that you could argue he did it once before, albeit poorly

Pressing the buttons on a remote less TV, or even pressing in those rubber buttons on a TV remote (or really any rubber button) that felt like if you didn't put pressure straight down you might snap the rubber nub if the button right off.

Really just physical buttons that aren't smooth plastic.

Making my way through the final Hyperion novel, The Rose of Endymion, by Dan Simmons. Can't believe it took me this long to get around to the series, it's an unbelievable achievement in science fiction writing. Highly recommend even just the first novel.
