Happy 29th anniversary to Hey Arnold, a show I find myself cherishing more now than I did as a kid ❤️ It's crazy it's been almost two years since I got back into it but I'll always be grateful to it for helping me during one of the biggest ruts I've ever had in my life

Did a TV 5x5 as well but that one ended up being harder to even get to 25 because of the much higher time investment shows tend to take compared to movies. Limited myself once again and didn't include any anime

Made a film 5x5 for the first time last night. Obviously not even close to containing all the stuff I love but I think it's a decent representation of my tastes. Limited myself to just two animated movies here

Then again I also still hold that the parent plotline was never needed to the point I could've done without TJM and that the Arnold/Helga plot thread was far and away more important and engaging but that's just me lol

Saw Barbarian last night. I think the last 20 minutes or so got a little goofy but overall a great horror movie that delves into the ripple effects of abuse and the various forms of misogyny that can be found present in many men. Has me real excited for Weapons in two months

Finished Ordeal Call 1. It was...fine, but I'm getting tired of this weird insistence on Ritsuka forgetting some important journeys he goes on, including this one. It especially feels weird here, the whole point of these Ordeal Call chapters is to learn about the extra classes...

Ordeal Call 1 has been....okay so far I guess, but it's hard to ignore how much these next few story chapters feel like such a deliberate prolonging of a conclusion to Fate/Grand Order's current story arc that they've already been dragging their feet with for a few years now

Arnold Visits Arnie and Married in Season 5 always slap. So good delving into Arnold's subconscious and seeing his complex feelings for Helga in full view. I love these two ❤️
