Finally finished my Noctide character, Rubidium 🔰

There's a few details I'm very proud of~ Especially how her patches look like the wells of sticky semi-liquid latex I intended... Every touch leaving lingering connecting strands between the two of you~

This is very "back of a fag packet" maths but the hoses are 40mm circumference (2cm radius) by a 50cm length for an internal volume of 628cm³. As there are 2 of them, that's a total hose volume of 1256cm³.

I've actually done a bit of maths on this and if you want to know something fucking hogwild, the way that the hood is setup with both vents open (as opposed to one valved for intake, 1 valved exhaust), it would be dangerous even with just the hoses attached without the bubbler portion at all

They also deleted the 1st post after @hexlatex.bsky.social sounded the alarm too. It's still up on EcksDotCom, where folks also raisied concerns, but since none have the same traction they've not deleted yet.

Obviously it's still for sale.

Yeah, they didn't design the bubbler setup, it's just dropshipped it in at huge markup from taobao. They've probably seen the aesthetic but with no concept of the practical application. The fact that the image on their website is a setup which WORKS (just not for their hoods) is testament to that.

They still have other posts promo'ing the setup, and a somehow even dumber variant of the setup on furrjoi's other brand g-pawz.

To dropship breathplay shit and use it wrong is at best dangerously irresponsible, but to try and bury all evidence of people sounding the alarm is maliciously evil.

a) This is resold from elsewhere as none of their breathplay masks have a 1 port configuration, they're all 2 side ports
b) it's SUPPOSED to be used in a regular gasmask with a central intake & exhaust valve like old soviet designs
