When you said “dead Whitney Houston,” I immediately thought hologram. There is mercy in the world.

Nah, I definitely blame Harris. Well, I blame two things: Harris’ not having the courage of her own convictions, leading her into the arms of the consultant class; and
America’s devastating lack of media/social media/internet literacy.

It’s especially galling because leftists were the ones warning that Harris was going to lose for exactly the reasons she lost. The campaign just dug in, throwing in their lot with the clueless consultant class as usual. The electorate wasn’t having it—just as we said they wouldn’t.

Thanks for these, much appreciated.

That it’s the left’s fault that Harris lost.

I cannot fathom how many people still genuinely believe this.

Yeah that’s not great

I’ve long since gotten rid of my X account so I can’t access that. Do you have a mirror or alternative link?

Thanks. Will read up on her.

Yeah, this is a gross comment.

Could you specify whom you’re talking about here?

I feel like the writing here could have been clearer. The intro sentence says Halligan is “out,” but then it goes on to say that Trump is keeping her in her role, except that he’s promoting her, but what if a higher court reinstated her? It took me a while to untangle what was going on.

Thank you so much for this—I really appreciate your time.

America is in dire need of a massive media/social media/internet
education campaign, and it should be one if not a series of required courses
in K–12. I genuinely think this is an overlooked solution to much of what does and will ail us.

Sure is: It’s called the rapture. For evangelicals, at least.

Probably intended it to reveal something embarrassing about liberal/left accounts who tend to criticize him.

I could go to the gym twice a day for the rest of my life and never look like that (complimentary!), but your point is otherwise well taken! Also fabulous color on you.

Is there a difference between “white supremacism” and “white supremacy”? Not meaning to be snotty or derailing here—genuinely asking as a writer/editor who wants to get it right with language around racism. Does the -ism/-ist suffix denote something more specifically structural or systemic?
