I grew up on transit, bike, & work w/ ADAS transport. Everyone deserves good mobility options! Posts are my own & don't speak for my employer.

DC/PHL, now in PGH 🏳️‍🌈 all year long
I absolutely rely on the reviews when buying stuff, particularly with tech and such.

Sadly with clothing, most stores don't have my size, so I have to take a gamble and order online most times anyway. Thankfully it usually works out for me

It's frightening how many people just... don't care about about red lights and school bus lights anymore.

Thankfully red light cameras are coming to Pittsburgh soon

It's eye opening.
I didnt know John Forester but many of his beliefs are circulating.
NJB is helping to sort all the 'arguments'.

Remarkable, that so many people had to read, what obvieously was considered the standard work:
When I took the League of American Bicyclists instructor certification seminar back in 2011, John Forester’s book was required reading. Even back then I knew it was BS, & I’m glad the League has come around since.
Oh boy, I had the same exact experience as Not Just Bikes when I decided I needed to read John Forester's Effective Cycling before writing about vehicular cycling in my book. It is a truly horrible book, and you really do not need to read it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRPd...

This was very informative, but definitely a lengthy video! It is frustrating how this individual was so adamant against installing safe bike infrastructure just so he can continue to go fast on the road.

I was wondering how the LRVs would fare once the tracks became a bit more slippery. I recommended a little light sliding on dry tracks at times. 😬 Happy Slippery Rail Season!

Thank you! This has been a lovely place. I can't believe it's been almost 6 years since I called Pittsburgh home!

It was my first time down to Boston, PA though!
